Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Parker County Criminal History does not keep a separate log or copy of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our systems receive basic technical and usage details when a visitor opens a page:
- Page-view timestamps and time spent on visited pages
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- The device's assigned IP address
- Pages viewed during the visit
- A referring website, when one is reported
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. We and our analytics providers use them to understand aggregate traffic, popular pages, and navigation patterns. A browser can reject or remove cookies, although doing so may change how some features work.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Parker County Criminal History does not build, store, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies official sources, including Parker County Sheriff's Office, the county's criminal courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Texas Government Code Sections 411.083 and 411.135 set the confidential baseline for DPS criminal-history information and authorize the public conviction and deferred-adjudication product. Visitor data is not assembled into a report about another person or used to create a consumer report. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and sharing rules govern information submitted through those tools. We do not control those practices. Review the selected provider's policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Parker County offices, Texas agencies, courts, legal resources, or private search services. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's policy controls the visit. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking is governed by their terms.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks serving material on the pages
- Search providers processing queries submitted to their tools
- A government body or law-enforcement agency acting under a valid legal demand
